White Label Consultants is delighted to have helped put Croydon on the map by proving that business success is possible despite the economic slump.
The company, which has played a major role in championing the town’s interests, was commended as Best New Business at the South London Business Awards held at Park Plaza Riverbank, London, on Thursday, 5th July.
It is the latest success for the company, formed by directors Jo Gumb and Katharine Glass in 2010, who took on the financial risk of developing a series of initiatives aimed at stimulating the local economy alongside providing a one-stop marketing and events management service.
Earlier this year, White Label Consultants was named as Best New Business as well as being commended in the Best Small Business category at the Croydon Business Awards.
Katharine said: “Initiating activities and events in support of Croydon’s regeneration was key to our business strategy when we formed the company.
“However, regeneration projects are just one part of the work that we do. We have a growing number of private clients who have taken advantage of our pragmatic, hands-on approach to marketing their business.
“This award is recognition of the fact that, as we have started to expand, we have extended our client base across the south London region and we are currently working in Sutton, Kingston, Merton, Lambeth, Bromley and Bexley.”
Recent initiatives have included organising last month’s successful Opportunity Sutton conference, designed to attract inward investment, rebranding Croydon’s Restaurant Quarter and organising the New Croydon Architecture and Design Exhibition as part of the London Festival of Architecture at Fairfield Halls.
White Label Consultants provides full service marketing, event management, design, public relations and digital solutions to a range of clients in both the private and public sectors.
