Sutton should capitalise on BedZed's success

World-leading environmental development BedZed is such a major success story for Sutton, that the borough should be using it to maximise its brand, according to Peter Pledger, chief executive, South London Business, 

Mr Pledger told more than 100 delegates at the Opportunity Sutton conference on June 13th that people came from all over the world to appreciate the BedZed development.

 “It’s a major USP for Sutton,” he said. “ And if you have got a world leading brand such as BedZed promoting a green way of living then you should be exploiting that with a range of companies who want to operate in that space. “

 Mr Pledger also recommended that Sutton became a genuinely enterprising borough through the creation of small business hubs across each of its district centres.
